Pacheco Wins AHL Player of the Week Trophy Monday, June 28th, 2032 18-year-old Miguel Pacheco made a few Tree City headlines during this past week as the rookie designated hitter proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Donnie Moore League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 24 at-bats to put up a .500 average. Pacheco collected 1 home run, 6 RBIs and scored 3 runs. Currently Pacheco is hitting .302 and has collected 8 home runs, 45 RBIs and scored 39 times, while playing in 75 games. |
