Alvarez Earns BOL Player of the Week Monday, May 17th, 2032 It was announced today that Chippewa shortstop Luis Alvarez had received the Lyman Bostock League Player of the Week Award for his impressive play last week. All week long he was terrific at the plate and won the honor with a .444 BA (12-for-27), 3 home runs and 4 RBIs. Alvarez is hitting .366 so far this season with 13 RBIs and 19 runs scored. He has 26 hits including 5 home runs, 18 walks and .494 OBP. |
