Nunez Goes on Rampage Against Vikings Monday, May 10th, 2032 New Orleans Jedi Knights left fielder Ivan Nunez had a day to remember at The drakkar today, ripping apart the Victoria Vikings and sparking the Jedi Knights to a 9-3 victory. Nunez wrote his name in the record books with a 5-hit barrage, finishing his special day 5-for-5. "I'm usually a first ball hitter," Nunez told BNN reporters in the postgame press conference. "I think pitchers think batters are going to let the first one go by. I never do. I've always found that it's better to pull the trigger early in the count. Pitchers get real nasty when they get ahead of you, so I try to avoid it." Ivan Nunez singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Kevin Murphy in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
