Kingwood's Ishibashi Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Wednesday, April 7th, 2032 It was almost a perfect day for Hirofumi Ishibashi. The Kingwood right fielder displayed a hot bat today, enjoying an outstanding 5-hit day, but something was missing: The Knights lost to the Coney Island Cyclones, 9-8. Ishibashi told BNN reporters after the game that luck was "fickle." Kingwood manager Barry Bowman told the beat writers otherwise. "There was no luck today," he said. "He got 5 hits because he has a solid approach to hitting and he put it all together today, and we lost because the rest of us didn't put it together so well." Hirofumi Ishibashi hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Jamie Morgan in the 9th.
