Sanders Awarded September's AHL Top Bat Prize Wednesday, October 1st, 2031 Doug Sanders may be much younger than other hitters in the Donnie Moore League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in September to win the Batter of the Month award. The 19-year-old St. Petersburg left fielder hit .391 with 5 home runs, 15 RBIs and 23 runs scored. This season Sanders is hitting at a .289 pace with 13 home runs, 50 RBIs and has scored 48 times. |
