Houston Sting Guaranteed Top Spot in Donnie Moore League Tommy Lasorda Division Thursday, September 25th, 2031 Those expecting a dogfight in the Donnie Moore League Tommy Lasorda Division this year got quite the opposite - an early, easy division crown for the Houston Sting. "When you look at how far we are ahead, it might look like it was an easy year, but it didn't feel that way for us," said starting pitcher Damien Sands. "A lot of blood, sweat and tears went into putting us here." With a current record of 95-54, the Sting can no longer be caught, cinching up a 4th division title for the franchise. Team manager Robby Tate said his club will "take some time to celebrate" the division title, but then "it's right back to work." |
