O'Leary Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Sunday, September 14th, 2031 Houston's Doug O'Leary was 1-for-1 in the Sting 8-5 victory over the Kingwood Knights. That stretched his hitting streak to 20 games. In the clubhouse after the win, the 21-year-old O'Leary told reporters, "I'm in a groove right now, and I am trying to stay there by doing the same things over and over again. If I change something, it might bring me bad luck." Doug O'Leary singled in the 7th. For the season O'Leary is hitting .352, batted in 39 runs with 5 home runs and 32 runs scored. |
