Season-Ending Injury for Pablo Martínez
Tuesday, September 2nd, 2031
Pablo Martínez will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Chippewa starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Martínez was injured while throwing a pitch in the River Chiefs-Dancin' Outlaws clash at Penlee Park recently. Doctors said he has a sore shoulder and would be out a minimum of 4-5 months.

To date this year, Martínez shows a 6-2 record, 14 starts, 72 innings, 72 strikeouts and a 3.75 ERA.
