Season Possibly Over for Jesús Gallegos Sunday, August 17th, 2031 When Winfield reliever Jesús Gallegos was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Warriors-Jedi Knights game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Gallegos had sustained a torn rotator cuff and will be out for about 8-9 months. This season Gallegos has made 42 relief appearances, recorded 8 saves and compiled a 2-5 won-lost mark and a 5.10 ERA. In pitching 67 innings, he has totaled 75 strikeouts and 52 walks. |
