Ramanakoppa Blanks Palm Beach Saturday, August 16th, 2031 The Palm Beach Bums struggled at the plate today against Pelicans hurler Hridaya Ramanakoppa, who shackled them on 2 hits while hurling a complete game 5-0 shutout. "What can you say? We didn't hit well," said Bums skipper Alejandro Blanco in his postgame comments. "Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow." Ramanakoppa finished the game with 10 strikeouts and 1 walk in an excellent mound performance. "He pitched real well," St. Petersburg manager Clement Snow said. "Hridaya made pitches when he had to. He hit his spots and did a great job of mixing in his changeup and using his fastball effectively." Ramanakoppa has gone to the hill for 5 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 6-4 record with a 2.77 ERA.
