Gerry LaForest Out for Season Friday, August 15th, 2031 Gerry LaForest is doubtful to make the playoffs this year, according to sources within the Victoria organization. Although the injury was initially thought to be not serious, tests have revealed the player will be out up to 7 months with a torn rotator cuff. The 21-year-old reliever suffered the injury throwing a pitch in a recent game against the San Angelo Mustangs. LaForest has no saves in 48 relief appearances this season with a 4-5 record and 3.76 ERA. |
