Red-Hot Bat: Schnoor Collects Cycle Sunday, August 3rd, 2031 The Houston Sting topped the West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws by a score of 8-0 at Woodland Park today but all the talk was on third baseman Jerry Schnoor. The Houston star hit for the cycle in a show-stealing performance, powering his club to the win. Schnoor went 4-for-5, collecting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to go along with 4 runs batted in and 2 runs scored. "I felt comfortable at the plate in a way I haven't felt all season," Schnoor said after the game. "It was like they were throwing beach balls at me - the ball seemed that big. And it just floated in." Jerry Schnoor hit an RBI triple in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Vincent Bethea in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 6th and flied out in the 8th.
