Chippewa's English BOL Top Pitcher Friday, August 1st, 2031 Over the past month Jerry English has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Lyman Bostock League. He proved all that and now he's been named July's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Chippewa River Chiefs posted 4-0 mark and a 2.84 ERA. In 5 starts he tossed 31.2 innings, permitted 28 hits and fanned 28 batters. This year English has 10 wins and 4 losses and a 3.77 ERA. |
