Atsushi Sugita Selected July's Best Batter Friday, August 1st, 2031 Chippewa River Chiefs fans believe they've got a talented young star in Atsushi Sugita. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in July, as he hit .448 with 6 home runs, 14 RBIs and 23 runs scored. The end result was the shortstop being named the Lyman Bostock League Batter of the Month. So far this year Sugita is hitting .348 with 12 home runs. |
