Brooks Selected Top Player Monday, July 7th, 2031 When it came to hitting the baseball, Lee Brooks had few peers in the Lyman Bostock League this past week. The talented left fielder for Chippewa tagged opposing pitchers for a .500 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 13 hits in 26 at-bats, 2 homers, 6 runs scored and 11 RBIs. This year Brooks is hitting .302 with 13 home runs and 67 RBIs in 60 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .367 with 26 walks and 41 runs scored. |
