Brooks Bashes 5 Base Hits Sunday, July 6th, 2031 Chippewa River Chiefs left fielder Lee Brooks really lit up the Kingwood Knights with a 5-hit barrage today at Stable Park -- a performance that sparked the River Chiefs to a 8-4 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game, saying "sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Lee Brooks hit a two-run home run off Jeff Bearce in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
