Nakayama Voted Best AHL Pitcher in June Tuesday, July 1st, 2031 Over the past month Ikku Nakayama has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Donnie Moore League. He proved all that and now he's been named June's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Barrow Frosties posted 4-2 mark and a 1.91 ERA. In 6 starts he tossed 33 innings, permitted 25 hits and fanned 37 batters. This season-to-date Nakayama has 8 wins and 7 losses and a 3.21 ERA. |
