AHL Trophy Goes to Thibodeau of Brisbane Monday, June 30th, 2031 20-year-old Dan Thibodeau made a few Brisbane headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Donnie Moore League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 29 at-bats to put up a .414 average. Thibodeau collected 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 8 runs. This season Thibodeau has hit 10 home runs and posted a .322 batting average. |
