Double News: Playoffs begin Friday, October 8th, 2032 What months ago was a dream is now reality. The trade deadline has passed, along with all the GMs' wheeling and dealing. Contract negotiations are on hold. Front office work is all put on the back burner. Now it's time for each club, player, coach and manager to put their imprint on DOUBLE A history. Nobody will remember the free agent who got away. No one will care about the trade that fell through. People will remember just one thing about the playoffs -- the team that wins the Double A World Series crown. The Double A League Championship starts today with these matchups: Riverside Red Bulls versus Pacifica Shamrocks and Carson City Mustang versus Rock River Rats. |
