Rats Okumura Down with Injury Sunday, September 19th, 2032 Disappointing news today for Rock River Rats fans. Motonobu Okumura was hurt throwing a pitch in their game against the Topeka Predators and has a torn labrum. Team trainers were hesitant to predict a date for return, but said it was likely the injury will keep the reliever out at least 9 months. This year Okumura has earned no saves, worked 18 innings, fanned 14 hitters and recorded a 2.00 ERA. He has also put up a 1-0 won-lost mark. |
