Week's #1 Player Honored by ACL Monday, August 30th, 2032 It was announced today by the Cory Lidle League that Jacksonville shortstop Yoshinaka Nishimura had received the Player of the Week Trophy for his superlative play last week. The Jacksonville shortstop wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers, pounding them for a .471 average (8-for-17) with 4 home runs and 7 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. This season in 77 games Nishimura is batting .281 with 7 home runs, 37 RBIs and has scored 39 times. |
