Mitchell Red-Hot, FFL Player of the Week Monday, August 2nd, 2032 So far in his young career, Jeff Mitchell has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Bob Moose League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Topeka Predators first baseman hit at a torrid .435 clip as he collected 10 hits in 23 at-bats, 6 home runs, 11 RBIs and 12 runs scored. Mitchell's current batting average stands at .305 and he has chalked up 9 home runs and 34 RBIs. |
