FFL Pitcher of the Month Goes to Hernandez Sunday, August 1st, 2032 Victor Hernandez took a much-deserved turn in the spotlight earlier today as he accepted the Bob Moose League Pitcher of the Month award for July. The 20-year-old Cornhuskers starter is a relative newcomer to the league, but nonetheless racked up an impressive 4-0 won-lost record in 3 starts. This month he fanned 35 batters in 29.1 innings and compiled a 2.76 ERA. Up to now Hernandez has compiled an ERA of 5.64 with a 6-8 mark over 16 starts. He has 102 strikeouts in 91 innings and has held opponents to a .306 batting average. |
