Petipas Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Saturday, July 31st, 2032 Jacksonville first baseman Bill Petipas had a day to remember today, 5-for-5 against the Newark Jail Birds at Cobras Ballpark as the Hellcats picked up a 11-6 victory. "He was patient up there today," Jacksonville skipper Pete Dellow told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Petipas has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Bill Petipas singled in the 1st, hit a three-run double in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Ernesto Trevino in the 5th and singled in the 7th.
