González and Becker Fight, Suspended 3 Games Wednesday, July 28th, 2032 Baseball officials have notified the Jail Birds and Storm Troopers organizations that one of their players has been suspended for "inappropriate and aggressive behavior" in yesterday's Newark-San Antonio contest at Cobras Ballpark. António González of the Jail Birds and Steve Becker of the Storm Troopers will have to sit out 3 games for their roles in the free-for-all brawl. This year González has hit at a .287 clip with 92 hits, 4 home runs, 38 RBIs and 50 runs scored. This season Becker has made 48 relief appearances with 1 save. In 95.2 innings he has fanned 73 hitters and recorded 4 wins and 6 losses with a 6.30 ERA. |
