Player of the Week: Topeka's Guzmán Monday, July 19th, 2032 So far in his young career, Roberto Guzmán has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Bob Moose League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Topeka Predators shortstop hit at a torrid .727 clip as he collected 8 hits in 11 at-bats, no home runs, 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Guzmán is currently batting .270 with no home runs and 13 RBIs. |
