Wolverines Hisataka Matsumura Will Miss Season

Hisataka Matsumura has to call it a season. The Wichita Wolverines starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Cincinnati Snaps and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Matsumura was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a bone spur in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 4-5 months.
In season stats Matsumura shows a 3-3 record in 10 games, 55.1 innings, 56 strikeouts and a 2.77 ERA.
