Snaps Diego Castro Down and Out for Year
Saturday, July 17th, 2032
When Diego Castro was hurt against the Wichita Wolverines, the Cincinnati Snaps were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 21-year-old starting pitcher suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Castro would miss 9-10 months of the season.
Castro has fashioned a 4-6 mark for the season, 4.36 ERA and thrown 95 innings in 18 starts. Opposing clubs are batting .253 against him.
