League Issues 8-Game Suspensions for Brawl Friday, July 9th, 2032 Misao Fujii of the Sandy Springs Spartans and Manny Torres of the Long Island Ducks got into a wrestling match yesterday at The Coliseum and now must pay the consequences for violating league rules. They have both been assessed 8-game suspensions by the league for inciting the heated altercation between the two clubs. This year Fujii has batted at a .256 pace with 41 hits, 8 home runs, 27 RBIs and scored 26 times. |
