Player of the Week: Long Island's Poliskin Monday, July 5th, 2032 So far in his young career, Martin Poliskin has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Bob Moose League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Long Island Ducks third baseman hit at a torrid .533 clip as he collected 8 hits in 15 at-bats, 4 home runs, 6 RBIs and 6 runs scored. Currently Poliskin is batting .290 with 60 hits and 15 home runs. He has knocked in 44 runs and scored 36 times. |
