Season Ends for Kyoji Kato of Sandy Springs
Friday, July 2nd, 2032
The season is apparently over for Kyoji Kato. The Sandy Springs Spartans medical staff informed the club that the reliever will be out at least 4 months with a fractured elbow. Kato was hurt in the game against Rock River while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season.
So far this season, in 16 relief appearances Kato has compiled an ERA of 8.10. He has pitched 16.2 innings, struck out 18, walked 13 and registered no saves.
