Wright Goes Deep 3 Times Friday, June 11th, 2032 Bob Wright went on a hitting rampage at Howling Park today and got membership in the select club of hitters who have hit three home runs in a game. He walloped three into the stands to pace the Wolverines to a 11-1 victory over the Topeka Predators. The Wichita left fielder collected 3 hits in 3 at-bats, drove in 5 and scored 3 runs. "I don't know, you never know when things are going to fall into place," he told the press after his big game. "Today, I didn't have any special insight or adjustment, I just happened to get three pitches I was ready for." Bob Wright hit a solo-shot off Jorge Arellano in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Jorge Arellano in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off David Sabaria in the 5th, walked in the 6th and walked in the 8th. So far this season Wright has 12 home runs and a .205 batting average. |
