Joe Mason Hurt, Out for Year Friday, June 11th, 2032 The season is finished for Joe Mason of the Riverside Red Bulls. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Red Bulls reliever suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Silicon Valley Hackers. Team doctors said it would take at least 10 months to heal. This season Mason has claimed 1 save and registered a 1-4 record with a 2.92 ERA. He has 18 relief appearances spanning 24.2 innings and has struck out 29. |
