Felipe Pérez Out for 4 Months
Wednesday, June 9th, 2032
Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Felipe Pérez of the Storm Troopers knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Madison Beehive while throwing a pitch. Because of a sore shoulder, the San Antonio reliever is expected to miss 4 months. Pérez was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen."
Pérez has nailed down 1 save for the year. He has also totaled 17 strikeouts and 12 walks in 21.2 innings while registering a 7.89 ERA and a 0-3 won-lost record.
