Jerry English Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Sunday, June 6th, 2032 Rock River starting pitcher Jerry English suffered a season-ending injury throwing a pitch in today's game against the Bulldogs. According to club doctors English has a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament. Although English has declined to comment, sources close to the player have stated that he is "devastated" that he will miss the playoffs. This year English has compiled a 3-0 mark with a 3.75 ERA in 10 starts. |
