Mendoza Gets FFL #1 Pitcher Trophy Tuesday, June 1st, 2032 Over the past month José Mendoza has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Bob Moose League. He proved all that and now he's been named May's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Rock River Rats posted 4-0 mark and a 2.67 ERA. In 5 starts he tossed 30.1 innings, permitted 22 hits and fanned 32 batters. This year Mendoza has registered 7 wins and 1 loss in 10 starts with a 4.45 ERA while registering 55 strikeouts and 24 walks in 56.2 innings. |
