Youngstown Starter Named ACL's #1 Pitcher Tuesday, June 1st, 2032 Luis Vásquez hasn't been around the big leagues long enough to know that youngsters shouldn't be winning Cory Lidle League Pitcher of the Month. But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In May the Youngstown starter earned a 5-0 mark in 6 starts. He threw 42.1 innings, struck out 23 and compiled a solid 2.34 ERA. This year Vásquez has gone 7-1 with an ERA of 2.05 and has 46 strikeouts in 70.1 innings. |
