Newark's Soverosa Injured, Out of Lineup Tuesday, May 25th, 2032 A blow for Botol Soverosa today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 5 months with radial nerve compression. Soverosa suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Newark Jail Birds are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Soverosa's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far this year Soverosa has made 23 relief appearances with no saves, thrown 28.2 innings and struck out 23 with a 1-3 record. |
