Pancho Cortéz Sidelined for 13 Months Tuesday, May 18th, 2032 Medical officials from the Phoenix Lights reported that the club's 30-year-old reliever, Pancho Cortéz, suffered a torn rotator cuff in yesterday's matchup against the Newark Jail Birds while throwing a pitch. Cortéz is expected to miss 13 months of action. So far this season, in 7 relief appearances Cortéz has compiled an ERA of 2.61. He has pitched 41.1 innings, struck out 44, walked 37 and registered no saves. |
