Marysville's Nishikawa Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Friday, May 14th, 2032 5 times is the charm -- at least for Tadao Nishikawa. The Marysville Monarchs shortstop tore up the Newark Jail Birds to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Mitts Fieldhouse today. The offensive onslaught from Nishikawa powered the Monarchs to a 8-3 win. "Nishikawa was a tough out today," Newark manager Johan Gillberry said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."
