So far in his young career, Scott McFarland has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Bob Moose League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts.

The 20-year-old Rock River Rats first baseman hit at a torrid .444 clip as he collected 12 hits in 27 at-bats, 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 6 runs scored.

In his stats this season, McFarland has posted a batting average of .350 with 42 hits in 120 at-bats, 10 home runs and 34 RBIs. He has also scored 31 runs, walked 16 times and compiled a .443 OBP.
