This promising rookie first baseman for Atlantic City garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 20-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .565 (13-for-23) with 1 home run and 1 RBIs last week. So far on the season Bassett is hitting .389 with 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 24 runs scored.
