Fred Naylor Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Saturday, April 24th, 2032 It took the New York team doctor a while to realize it, but starting pitcher Fred Naylor won't simply play through a torn rotator cuff after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Storm Troopers-Ninjas game. At first, it looked like Naylor might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 13-14 months. To date Naylor is 0-1 in 5 starts with a 5.48 ERA and has 17 strikeouts in 21.1 innings. |
