Cory Lidle League Selects Best Performer Monday, April 5th, 2032 23-year-old Juan Politti made a few Riverside headlines during this past week as the rookie left fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Cory Lidle League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 20 at-bats to put up a .600 average. Politti collected 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and scored 7 runs. |
