Quintana Chosen September's Best FFL Hurler
Wednesday, October 1st, 2031
"The kid had it all working last month," a veteran teammate told reporters. "He keeps up those kind of numbers, we might have to start inviting him out with us after the games."
César Quintana put together a very solid month to take home the Bob Moose League's top pitching honor in September.
The 25-year-old reliever threw like a veteran. In 11 relief appearances he raked in no saves and 26 strikeouts in 30 innings as he put together his 5-2 record and 1.80 ERA.
This year Quintana has chalked up a 2.94 ERA with 1 save. In 48 relief appearances he has put up a 10-3 won-lost mark and struck out 68 batters in 95 innings.
