Denny King of Fling with No-Hitter Friday, September 12th, 2031 There was magic on the mound today at The Field at Richmond as Topeka Predators starter John Denny no-hit the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats. Denny held Buzzard's Bay hitters spellbound and helpless in a masterful display of pitching, leading the Predators to a 6-0 win. "It was like I was in a dream," Denny said afterward. "The ball just went right where I wanted it to." In his mound masterpiece, Denny rang up 12 strikeouts and issued 2 walks. In 14 starts this year Denny has fashioned a 3-6 record and a 2.01 ERA.
