League Suspends Adame and Takano for Fisticuffs Wednesday, September 10th, 2031 Phoenix's Félix Adame and Frisco's Toichi Takano have been handed 2-game suspensions for their parts in yesterday's upheaval at UFO Field. The teams were notified today that the suspensions would go into effect immediately. According to the league commissioner Adame and Takano provoked and incited the brawl and bore the blame for what transpired. Thus far this season Adame has hit .269 with 14 home runs, 74 RBIs and scored 87 times. For the season Takano has made 47 relief appearances, recorded 3 saves, compiled a 8-2 won-lost mark and a 4.44 ERA. In pitching 77 innings, he has totaled 96 strikeouts and 58 walks. |
