Player of the Week: New York's Zapor Monday, September 8th, 2031 So far in his young career, Jack Zapor has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Bob Moose League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old New York Ninjas catcher hit at a torrid .440 clip as he collected 11 hits in 25 at-bats, 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This year Zapor is hitting .266 with 74 hits, 27 home runs, 75 RBIs and has scored 49 runs. |
