Nomura Punishes ACL Pitchers This Week Monday, September 8th, 2031 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Cory Lidle League, but last week Takane Nomura of the Newark Jail Birds reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Nomura rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (8-for-16), 3 home runs and 6 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Nomura is hitting .302, produced 28 RBIs and 9 home runs, scored 17 times and gotten on base at a .384 rate. |
