Buzzard's Bay Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Saturday, September 6th, 2031 Noboru Miyamoto said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats after they missed the DOUBLE A playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2029. In the last 10 seasons, the Beetlecats have missed the playoffs 8 times. In total, the Beetlecats have missed the playoffs 17 times in their 19-year history. |
